I came to Costa Mesa in 1947 before it became a City. I’ve seen its humble beginnings, I’ve witnessed the progress that brought us to the magnificent City we are today, and I know what it will take to keep Costa Mesa a vibrant place that our children and grandchildren can call home for many years to come.
As a member of the Orange County Transportation Authority Citizens Advisory Committee for the past two years, I have advocated for planning to alleviate the flow of traffic and improve our streets and bike ways for years to come.
As a member of the City’s Pension Oversight Committee, I have fought to make sure that the City’s resources are spent responsibly and that more dollars are available to hire more police officers and firefighters.
As a member of the Fairview Park Citizen Advisory Committee, I worked to protect and revitalize Fairview Park. Our parks are part of our legacy and will be enjoyed by many as I enjoyed them in my youth.
As a member of the Senior Commission, I advocate for programs that keep seniors active, independent and self-sufficient.
Through my father, who worked hard to provide for our family at a young age, I learned the value of hard work, the importance of family, and to treat everyone with civility and respect. I will bring these same values to the City Council as your representative.
For more than fifty years, I have listened to the concerns of Costa Mesa residents. I know the concerns of Costa Mesa residents, and I am ready to represent the concerns of Costa Mesa residents when you elect me to City Council in November.
I humbly ask for your vote and support so that we can bring safety, stability and solidarity back to Costa Mesa.
